Ideas for a New Web Comic

This'll be hosted on Arcandio.com once I html it or find a image rotaing script online. Right now, I want suggestions for the setting/characters in my new comic. I probably won't be able to do them any faster than 1 per week, if they're flats or B/W.

Name Idea:
Meta
Meta Games

I think this gives us a good theme that can be used versitally and humorously, with lots and lots of material. I mean seriously.

You could style the new web comic idea off of all of your friends, changing themes as you get new ideas, but mainly just to make fun of all those frustrating games and ideas out there. For example, several years back, you drew all of us in your room playing Magic: The Gathering. You could do similar ones now, rotating in people who fit the current theme. Of course, I'm saying this because I was impressed with your original comic.

I've been considering that... The current theme I was running with is a buncg of overpowered, slightly neurotic RPG characters dealing with life in a Meta sort of way... However, I would like to work in this idea of our friends... maybe their characters? Maybe characterizations of their personas? Hmm... I need more input I think still...

I like this friends idea... Perhaps you can base it off of the pics you distort so very well...

Those Photoshopped pix are really timeconsuming.... I doubt it would make very funny subject matter.... 'Sides. I'd be faster to make the cells by drawing...

Meta: the idea was to be satrical about gaming, RPGs, D&D, Computers and so on but poking fun at the very way we think and percieve them. So like the characters would be making fun of US the readers for browser choice and playing fighters and so on. Mainly because I've got tons of Ammo on that subject.

Well, you wouldn't have to use the pics themselves, just a basic drawing based on the pic/ how the pic turned out. I.E. You as a troll.
But, whatever, it's your comic.

I was thinking recently to pare down the setting a little: Imagine this:

The quintessential RPG character of each of my freinds lives in the real world, swapped with their real counterpart whom they play at Gamers Anonymous on wednesday nights.
EX: John as an Everquest troll and Jie as a Hunter living as room mates. Humorous no?

I think there would be several characters for each person, at least a few. Mianly for plot purposes.

Also, I was thinking that I would accept scripts to do as comics, as long as I like them and people think they're funny. I'm going to need some quality control (like largo only...not) to be my editor.

Anyway,

Teckla: Fairy: Twitch: Named for spasms when she doesn't get sugar/nectar. 5.6" tall. how's that?
Joe: could just be the DM/Narrarator guy. Or a Documentary maker.
Amanda: ...?Elf?... an Elf ranger...?
Liz:...History... A Monk type?
Zach: A bard. ... a not so typical Bard race/speicies.
Megan: ... Pirate. Just because. It'd be cool, I mean to have a pirate...
That and I don't think she would mind....

ANyway, I like the plot line betwixt Narg and Twitch. Well, the whole capturing bit anyway.
Also: Because of "Pet" like reaction at first, Twitch could kinda end up like one of those frogs/bugs you take in from the wild and put in a jar when you're little, and kinda go *pac man failure noise* and stop glowing. She'd be saved when Narg asks the party what's wrong with his new shiny, and they figure out:
1.) Airholes are nice.
2.) Nectar is better.
...this could also introduce her name. *twitch*
And towards the end of this, she could figure out that if she stays in the bottle, she's better off than if she was just living by herself. As a reward to those who fed her, Twitch could 'ching' a song or two, so that Narg wouldn't have to shake the bottle to get that cool noise. ...
I dunno. Somebody had mentioned the following plot line, and I figured it would be better for the fairy to have a reason why she would want to save him:
"And then Narg could get into a battle or something, and end up really badly injured, but then when they check around for something to cure him with, they find the Fairy in the bottle and then they were all happy and healthy and the end."
...
yeah. ummm...
Also I think it'd be kinda cute if Narg, with his huge fingers, was able to make little accessories for Twitch. Like, leaf clothes or something...

Also, I am confused as to what settings are where. Like okay...
the D&D essential Friends Group are in the Comic's Real World. So do they live in the Actual UWSP? Or is it their magicky realm, and they just dream up normal life? Like a complete reversal, so that if we rp them in their world, they would rp us?

On the subject of the Video Game worlds, I think that the characters should have yet ANOTHER set of alteregos based off themselves that they use as avatars in games.

I'm currently debating renaming the comic from Meta to Save or Die. I like the latter better.
If you want the old one, reply or something really quick (within a few hours) else I'm going to finish the comic site uner the name Save or Die (SoD). It just sounds cooler. ^_^
