Himiko and Rin should have a pet in their room... but more on that later.
Late one night:
Arc: Well girl I'm going to bed.
Himiko and Rin: Bed....?
Himiko: Yeah you know that thing you should be doing?
Rin: I've been up just as long as you have.
Himiko: I work best in Model space...
Arc: ...?
Rin: She's on AutoCad overload.
Himiko: Excuse me you're the one trying to draw with your toes.
Arc: You girls should go to bed....
Himiko and Rin: We're not tired.
Arc: *sweatdrop*
Arc: That's not good....
Everyone in the room: What?
Arc: Himiko and Rin are having a fight...
All: What!
Cleric: But those two are the essence of friendship... the world is going to end! *runs away screaming*
Narg: What be them fighting about?
Arc: Who's the better friend...
*community sweatdrop*
Himiko: Are not
Rin: Are too
Himiko: Are not
Rin: Are too
Arc: They've been going on like this for 15 minutes.... You're both the best friend to the other!
Himiko and Rin: *pause*
Himiko: No, Rin is!
Rin: Are not
Himiko: Are too
All: *on floor feet in air*

Idea on how Arc and Rin meet.
It could be in the game that Himiko and Arc play, that Himiko has just got Rin to try. So either they could both be watching Himiko fight from the sidelines or Arc could help her with a quest. Either way, she finds him to be a nice guy and tries to get Himiko to lighten up.

Ok for the pet thing. Himiko and Rin would have a cat. *Yes I'm obsessed but hey she agrees with me!* Personality would possibly be that he'd think he own the universe. Quite possibly talks....

More on the cat...
I think it should have wings. Yes I said wings, no it's not completely strange. There are little statues of cats with wings and I read a book about some a long time ago. So yes cat with furry feathery wings... Why are people looking at me like I'm nuts?
Name... will have to talk to Rina about that we'll have to figure out how he looks too.
It will be cute if the cat like to sit on Himiko's shoulder cause then she'll have a cat on one shoulder and a dragon on the other. Defiantly a kitten, but not a thumb kitten Arc.

*curiously and nervously looks over into the world of Arc's forums, as she has yet to post up to this point. When it looks safe, she opens her mouth.*
Ok, ideas for the cat. I like the wing idea for it. it actually put a strange little idea in my brain about further aspects of this little furry guy. Yes, it would be a male cat. Any problems, take it up with the further details I have come up with at this point. But if they are just stupid ideas, it's ok to tell me so. That goes double for Ark and Aranight. *watches them before going on* Ok, other parts of idea, right. The name of the cat, because a few certain and very important people like the guy he'd be named after, is Vash. Yes, Vash. A kitty named Vash, with wings, and do I even need to say what color eyes? Let's see, what else...? Well, if we're all ok with the idea up to that point, we can talk about what the cute little guy looks like besides that. But I'm thinking tabby cat, possibly furry like Spike, and that cream and tan colored coloring, if anybody has any clue what I'm talking about. I've only ever seen a few cats colored like that, but they're beautiful. And who cares if we're in Japan, this cat will have a long fluffy tail. Or just long tail if not fluffy.
So yeah, that's my idea so far... *hides*

I like your ideas. We may have to think more on the the name though, as much as I love Vash I think Arc would want us to have a name not so obviously attached to something in the real world. He could be named Apollo... of course then he'd be a trouble maker... Having it male is what I was thinking as well since my experience with female cats is that they are either stupid, insane or both.

I have a question, and it is a stupid one in my opinion, because my brain is failing to work on me. Ok... here goes. *deep breath* What exactly is the story supposed to be behind my character? I get the name, and the rest is kinda coming up in fuzzy recolections of random bits of memory. So that's the stupid question. Getting me caught up on what I don't remember about my character in this. The dragon part I do remember, but how exactly are we saying this works? Is it an actual form or just an illusion? Because I know characters that do both.
And random thought about that for Aranight and anyone else who knows Byron. If Byron were to take the illusionistic form of a humanoid, would you bump into him way before you'd get to the human form? Or would he use it more as a decoy and place himself way the heck out of the way to avoid things like that from happening. Example, the show Wolf's Rain. How does that work, do you think? I mean the wolves take on human forms, right? But if they grab onto somebody the person feels teeth grabbing onto their arm or shirt or whatever, right? Maybe I'm just over annalyzing these things, who knows... But ponder that. Maybe.

*all of a sudden a picture springs up in here head. One of a man sized ogre poling a gondola down a river, while crooning in his ogre voice. the woman sized faerie(WIth massive wings) looks at him adoringly whereas all the surrounding people are diving for cover and protecting their ears.
Narg: Dum dum de dum dum!
Random person in other boat: *Throws tomatoe and scores on Narg's gondola hat*
Narg and CHing: *Blink blink*
Narg: Me oughto teach smart guy a-
Ching: *Flies over to other boat, and explodes. Flies back from charred wreckage and soot covered individuals in boat*
Ching: <There that ought to teach him a lesson!>

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that Himiko and Rin have a cat with wings that has a name other than Vash, probably Apollo, and is prone to trouble. Well, how in the world did the idea of the pet being a cat come about? Why not a dog? A guinea pig? A fish? A hamster? A baby puma aka mountain lion or other type of feline? A snake? A turtle? An iguana or other various type of reptile? A bird? See where I'm going here? There are all these other animals out there, including horses, that are other than a dmestic cat with wings, and yet we descide on that. Yes, Aranight and I agreed on a cat, but I think that, possibly, a comic about how the idea of a cat even came to be.
And as a side note, an animal that is at least half gray wolf would be fun, don't you think? Or any species of big cat? Especially a tiger or a mountain lion, who would naturally be named Rock Jaw. *smile* I think I like things that have big claws and teeth. Hence my great love for wolves, big cats, and dragons. Oh. And anyone who understands that last part about Rock Jaw gets a big hug from me, because it makes me happy.

It's a cat because I asked you and you said quote it would definitely be a cat end quote. Let's just stick to giving Arc ideas and not start debates. There are other boards for that. This comic is about Arc and a little bit about us being roommates in Japan, let's not get too carried away.
Let's not forget the feet count one, Arc. Though I know that will be far down the line, I nearly forgot so I thought I'd put it here so we'd both remember. Roommate walking look up count feet realize Arc doesn't have 4 feet and then walk out.

I didn't mean that it wouldn't be a cat, I was saying that an idea for a page of comic could be of the two of us deciding on a pet. That is all. *sigh* I didn't mean to start anything by that.
And for the record, yes, it would definitely be a cat. But that's not the point.

Fsck Yeah. Nice posting ladies. Keep it up!! And on the cat, Here's what my thought is (and since the next comic is STILL not done because I'm such a Lazy ASS) It could well in the next one...
Cat:
Name: Vash (Rin(a?) and Himiko: "So sue us. We like Anime just as much as Americans.=P)
Age: Kitten
Description: little cream wings, orange spots with cream (Like Spike) Big cute cyan eyes.
Quirks: Gets in lots of trouble (almost every frame in some kind of mess or predicament. IE on the top of a bookshelf, in a clothes hamper, on Himiko's shoulder, on the keyboard etc) , Also makes totally unrelated noises sometimes, wolf bays, lion roars, goat bahs, etc. Possible self defense mechanism?
Vash should appear in every frame that either of the girls are in, I think. That's negotiable though.
On your character Rina. (will it be Rina or Rin?) You're really a dragon who disguises herself using an alteration to appear human. her disguise is complete, because put simply, its an alteration not an illusion. she actually does change forms, not just appearances. and the real reason might actually be quite complicated (As in: Gabriel and Darkling are hunting dragons for some reason and they found Rina and are after her, bringing them into contact with everyone else.) but they let people think it's so she can go to tokyo U.
The four feet thing does need to happen.
I do think that a comic about the kitten would be cute, but Aranight's also right; I may have my hands really full with school this year, but I will definitely keep that in my log of Ideas.

Oh heres an idea. For one comic I think the kitten should be typing to Arc on an instant messenger. Whether it's intelligent or not has yet to be decided but either way Himiko steps away from her computer and Vash being the trouble maker he is starts pouncing around on the keyboard and totally confuses Arc in doing so. I thought it be cute...
