Incantation (Technique?) Tactics

Incantations tend to take longer to perform than standard magic. A powerful ritual could take over a minute to complete. Were the castor to be distracted it could lead to a backlash cascade.

Simple tools and weapons can be used with freeform incantation (insert magic for those who don't use incantations) to aid in keeping someone pinned down. The first is a small thrown weapon, such as darts, shurkens, knives, etc. The second is string, cable, or something of the sort. Both should be made of a strong substance or they will need to be infused before use.
The string or cable is tied to the thrown object and then thrown at a target. The purpose is not to hit the target but to tie them up against something. As the objects fly by them magic (magnitism, friction, gravity, inertia, whatever) is used to control them to fly around the target and any object you may want tied to them. Then just yank and anchor your end.

Control over inertia is a powerful magic. With poper practice a person can be a whirlwind.

When moving the castor would lower her inertia to make herself easier to accelerate or decelerate. When striking she would increase the inertia within the striking limb before contact with a target.

The timing in this whole procedure is without a doubt the most important part or limbs will unecessarily broken. Also, prolonged use of this tactic is not recommended since this only affects inertia and not friction, over used the castor could be lit a flame.

One fo the post potent things that Incantations can do is transform the base principles of the Universe. This includes such simple and widespread ideas as Gravity, Speed, Inertia, Realitivity and so on. Physical Laws Can be manipulated by someone skilled enough in Incantations.

Converting Velocity to friction
Converting Friction to Inertia (thus allowing eternal movement)
Converting Gravity to Elemental Energy (Making the subject Float and allowing them to exude strong forces)
Converting Elemental Energy to Gravity (thereby crushing an opponent via a Fireball)
