I'm not sure what we're doing next year for Pointcon 13, so advice, problems and questions can be posted here!

As I said in the officers thread... 8 bit theatre?
Either that or have a godfather/ animae mix of some sort of wedding between two animae people otherwise unlikely to meet.
I mean, it would kind of be like the political thing, lik eno murdering in public or the wedding would be called off, and you could have some weird entertainers, like gypsies, pirates and ninjas!!...
Maybe not.

here's my thought: A Midevilarp. Characters have an array of abilities based of their power and everyone carries quest cards to give to others for completion. Along with each quest card, each quest has a reward card for when the other person comes back after completing the quest. it'd take place in your tyical Middle Age castle with possibly dragons and orcs and whatnot outside the walls to fight. I'm thinking up a new system for LARP just for this purpose, and I'm calling it ArcBlade. I'll start a thead for it on this board.

*blink blink*
Would it follow the same principles as a scavenger hunt?
I mean, going out and using cue/clue cards to obtain your objective?
Question: Why medieval? Couldn't it be anyother time zone as well? For example, I am very interested in playing this Greek game I heard about on your whims board...*shrugs* Another Question: How and who would win? Another: If it is Medieval, would it be followng feifdoms? Another: Would it be random for people's professions and classes, or are people going to have to set up their characters in advance? If it is the latter, you can set up a different event the previous day, so everyone who wants to LARP can come and just generate their characters, and everyone can help them with questions then. That way it wouldn't cut into actual LARP play so much...

You know what
Let's do it!!
I think a Renaissance/Medieval LARP would be great, especially if we can focus our attention on this subject now, and tackle some of the details now, when we have time.

Well, we can give it some more thought then, and I can keep at the ArcBlade thing, be posting some Skill lists tonight. But As Prez I think we need to have a true Gasp Vote on what the LARP will be, Unless the officiers think it'd be better for the gamers NOT to known until its "too late."

Well, either they have it open by the time we need it, or we wait until its done. The clubs that utilize the buildings have very little say in what goes on there; we get routinely shafted out of spaces we signed up for (ie pointcon and the involvement fair). So in short, we do what they say. and there's not a lot of other places we could hold GASP or PointCon.

I'll have to make sure I ask off for that weekend. I'll tell everyone on my board to do it so we can all go this year. I would also be willing to DM a campaign at PointCon too. I know last year we had a lack of events and such stuff, but hopefully things will be better organaized. . .

Hopefully, barring any unfoseen circumstances, I should be there the whole time as well. I just need to know what time everything starts in the mornings.

Well, Bob, if you want to DM/GM, you must fill out these requirements:
1.) Have a preliminary draft of your game and how long it should last, and what size of room you'd need and about how many people you would like to have in your party.
2.) Sign a contract that says you will be there, and that if you don't show up, you will let us break your pinkies, kneecaps, and anything else breakable and valuable to you....
