Since this is the "Unrelated" portion I thought it'd be more appropriate here. I need to know two things about our BESM at Point Con. 1: How many character points, and 2: Are we using skills.
I will likely alter many of the attributes for more of a naruto style and affects, but they will derive from the ones in the book.

here's how the BESM LARP should look for character creation:
Skills: Negatory (too complicated, its a one shot after all. besides I don't want all that stuff taking precedence over Player Interaction)
The Really Big Players (Naruto, Kenshin, Orochimaru, Demon Lord(Basically anyone I need to NPC)): CP 50
Powerful Secondaries and Seoncaday Plot characters: CP 40
Tertiary Characters (Guild leaders and Ninja squad Leaders): CP 30
Guild Members, Group Members, Playable lackeys and generic Ninja: CP 20
OP4 (if it goes at all): CP 15
Remember to generate a hell of a lot of Guild Type characters, they'll be the ones we hand out in big groups to the guys who come in off the street.

So, out of curiosity, when does something stop being new on the boards? I see lots fo little <new!> thingies, and they vary on their dissappearance rate...

very good question. I delete stuff off of the News Fader when things are moot and hold little relevance. I leave things up that I want people to remember or see often, and also things that might be important to new viewers. There is a script that I could use to make another box up top to contain the old news, but this would only push down the entire site more on the front page. That would look icky to newcomers. So instead, I leave stuff up.

Wow guys! I think we've all hit a middle end summer rut.... I was feeling guilty for not posting the last 7 ish days only come to find that no one else posted either. Oh course we all know me and how that won't lessen my guilt.
