This relates to what Sera said before about Law having more power over Good and Evil. This explains the difference between Aeos Himself and The Infinite Nothing.
Casue and Effect. This is the meaning of Creation. This is Aeos. This is the universe as we know it. Even the base of Aeos's power in the beginning was Thinking and the Creation of a Concept. Cause and Effect.
However, The Infinite Nothing has no casue, no effect. No outcome, no resolution. Its a Vacuum Diagram. Its cyclical. It Is and Is Not, the pure essence of everything and nothing. Aeos imposed his rule of Cause and Effect by creating concepts, ("I think therefore I am"esq) and these concepts are made of the Nothing.
Aeos's Rule of Creation is also called The Law of Structure. The reason is that because of Cause and Effect, the natural outcome is a natural curve of greater and lesser states. In other words, things tend to have a structure, if you look hard enough. Some of the structure of the universe is so complex that it is utterly impossible for most mortals to comprehend. However, the idea the concept of Civilization is a simple idea, a creation of rules that follows Cause and Effect.
Game Terms, and Game Design terms: This is a rule for us to follow that few new OGL books have taken into consideration. Everything should have a place. Its no good to create a class without a background for where it came from, or to create a civilization that has no beginning. There is a rule in the GM section of the HG 2nd ed book that is called the Y3/ rule. It means, for every event, ask Why. Answer? Ask why of the answer. Ask why of THAT answer and you should have a pretty deep and meaningfull concept.
Cause and Effect. Thats the rule.
