Prefect: SouthProvince: ChuouNear Nishihon, Fugato
Chuoushuu is a Province defined by some of the best horsemen on the Islands. Its rolling hills rise into the Southern Chuou Mountains where several well established temples reside and watch over the foothills. In the foothills is the fortress of the much feared warlord Bokumizu. It is said that the Esoteric Monk Saicho Sensei keeps watch over Bokumizu and his followers, keeping certain that the peasants are not harmed. However, Saicho has not stopped the warlord from his conquests yet, and his territories grow day by day in the wake of the fall of the Dynasties.

/me It was a brisk day that they had picked to fight the patrol. They selected a bottleneck up in the hills between the two farming villiages to attack from. Seung was hoping to gather more weapons and possibly a few horses from the patrol, but first his small band had to overrun the enemy and take them off the horses. The bottleneck afforded them some leeway; the patrolmen were less able to take flight from between two cliff faces.
/me Seung placed Chen and Kai, his best archers, at the tops of the hills, hidden in the bushes. He then led half the others around the hill to flank while Jenkaru did the same with the others. Seung whistled twice, signaling that the patrol was very close. A few moments later, Hagewa crossed the path carrying a sword and a spear, items a hinin was never allowed to carry. The patrolmen called out at him and began riding towards him. As planned, Hagewa threw the spear down into a hole dug in the corner of the cliff, creaing a barrier for the horses to trip on. He then ran down the path and up to the group of five bandits.
/me Seung's five came from behind and fired three staggered volleys of arrows at the backs of the patrolmen, as snipers' arrows pierced their armor from above. The Patrolmen clollided with the front bandits as they lifted spears to receive the charge.
