Yeah, but it's still the Shiznic!!!!! Yes, Corpse Bride was a big dissapointment........but I enjoyed it the best I could.......I thought that Depp should have gotten with the Corpse Bride....like COME ON!!! She was musicaly talented, she had a much better personality, they had way more in common.......and she wasn't THAT bad looking either...ya know.....for someone who's been dead for a long time........she only had like..what.....an eye problem and a few pieces of skin missing? I would have killed myself and been with her. Who needs sex when your dead? ........ no Holmes I'm not Pete, just saying that a chick with a cool personality and muical talent overrides a pretty girl in my mind......even if she is...... undead???  ;; |

The point of getting married, as they were trying to show you in the beginning ,was to carry on the family lines and to make your family richer and higher in status by marrying your offspring off to someone with a better stature...
Thus Victor marrying the corpse bride woudl be ineffective to have a family... which is probably what she wanted in the first place...

yes I got that point from the movie, but the fact was that both families were poor, so therefore marrying for status would have been pointless to begin with.

No. The "Fishmongers" aka Victor's parents were so well off, that they could afford to marry their son off and help bring Victoria's family out of debt. Thusly it would have been more appropriate for the killer groom fellow to go after VIctor, rather than Victoria.

No, my roommate doesn't sleep talk in Chineese, but he does throw computers across the room when he gets mad. If that's any consolation. Plus, when he does sleep talk, he usually speaks the language of Mordor, which I shall not utter here  He sounds posessed, which is pretty scarry for a 300 pound guy. He Kool-Aid Man-ed through his pod wall once on his last roommate 'cause his roommate was being too loud at night. (For those that don't know, a pod is a big-ass (usually) plywood box you put a bed in for privacy in a room). Boondock Saints is a cool movie, I like the scene in the beginning when the one brother drops the toilet on the one itallian guy and jumps off a 4 story building w/o breaking his legs. But, of course, that's why he's a saint. only 2 miracles left. Oh man it is too late to be surfing the web. PS am I the only person here who didn't see Charley and the Chocolate Factory? |

Serenity was also another good movie that came out recently. Fredock is downloading the original Sci-Fi TV series, as we don't watch much TV (except anime, but that is also on computers), which is called Firefly. Has the same actors and every thing too. . .might be worth a watch. . .
